Pineapple Salsa Upside Down Spice Cake

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoons ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup The SalsaKing's Peachy Pineapple Salsa

Cream butter and sugar; add oil and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl; add to creamed butter mixture. Blend thoroughly. Pour salsa onto bottom of buttered 13 x 9 inch pan, or use two 8 inch rounds, spoon cake batter over salsa 350° for 1 hour. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes then invert onto serving plate and serve.
