Tropical Bread Pudding

6 or so slices of banana bread, use one of the ones you get as gifts or that you made after having bought 10 pounds of bananas at Costco and didn't eat all of them
1/2 cup The SalsaKing's Just Peachy Pineapple Salsa
4 Eggs, well beaten
1 cup half and half
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg
Butter to coat loaf pan

Cube the banana bread, it should make about 6 cups. Use some good whole wheat bread to make up the difference. Mix the salsa with the eggs, half and half and milk. Fold it all in with the bread cubes until well coated. Pour into a buttered loaf pan. Bake at 300 for 50 to 60 minutes, or until set. Let stand for an hour and then serve with some nice sherbert or maybe a little rum sauce.
